Dark Was the Night Compilation Album

This is a indie rock music fan’s wet dream. An epic compilation of artists and bands. Benefiting the Red Hot Organization (AIDS awareness) and compiled/organized by the brothers Dessner from The National, Dark Was the Night is a veritable who’s who of indie rock. Full track listing and first song on their MySpace page, and apparently they will be releasing a track a day on the site before it releases on February 17. More info here on Pitchfork. The song on the Myspace page right now is Cello Song by The Books with Jose Gonzalez and it’s pretty great, I’m listening to it now.
